About Me

I’m a chartered librarian, a reader, a researcher, a critic and  a writer. I am represented by Bryony Woods of DKW Literary Agency for my books, and currently research at the University of York. I blog more on the nature of my research here.

If you’d like to support the costs of this blog, then you can do a micro-donation (£3) via my Ko-Fi link! (And if you do, let me know and I’ll give you a personalised book suggestion 🙂 )

I’d love to work with you in a variety of bookish circumstances! I can help you out with research, reading lists, staff training, social media  or anything else relating to children’s literature that you may think of.

My freelance rates are very flexible and tailored to the nature of the enquiry so please do feel free to get in touch using the form below. I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. Babbleabout Books here (Yvonne). I didn’t know you had done a TEFL job. I’m thinking of adding that to my list. Did you do a course?? And which one was it? You have gone even further up in my estimations (if that is the right phrase …. and if that was even possible!).

    Best wishes to you. Yvonne

  2. Hallo nobodyjones,

I’v e just had an email saying that you’re following my blog, which is very nice. But it all went pear-shaped a while back and I can’t find it anywhere now. Does it still actually exist somewhere?

Could you let me know how you got hold of it so that I might be able to find it again?

    Thank you!
