Bereavement in children’s literature

Just a quick one today. I hope to be holding a twitter chat on this issue shortly once I’ve worked out the details. It’s an emotive subject and one which I feel can’t be “solved” nor deserves a “solution”. It just deserves careful and honest thought – from both the reader and the author. It’s also something that, in my opinion, Β isn’t discussed anywhere near as much as it could / should be.

To tide you over, here’s a very interesting article about Alan Silberberg and his children’s book “Milo and the Restart Button”.
